Eight and Ninth Session

116th day: The day starts with a thick mist that covers our approach to the fort. Akiros said the password to open the port and we rushed in. We managed to defeat the bandits who were in the fortress and even killed their pet owlbear. I found a secret tunnel, but it was filled with hostility so I was forced to return heavily wounded.
That night the Stag Lord and their men returned, but we were to late to give a response on their horn signals so the were aware of us.

117th day: We had some trouble staying awake, because we all were awake last night. Karel tried to create a diversion in the middle of the night.

118th day: It seems the diversion has no effect so we concluded that the Stag lord is heading towards Oleg’s Trading post. We decided to get there as fast as we can.

119th day: A bear visited us at night we managed to chase it away.

120th day: A owlbear visited us at night we managed to put it down.

121th day: Barely we managed to get at Oleg’s trading post before the Stag lord. So we were just in time to join the battle for Oleg’s trading post. Karel launched himself with the catapult straight to the Stag Lord, but he was overwhelmed and didn’t see the victory at the end of the combat. I bagged the head of the Stag Lord.

123th day: Although we lost Karel, we must continue our exploration, but first we return to the Stag lord’s old fort.

126th day: We found a place to cross the river and see a man being attacked by a tatzulworm. After aiding him in defeating the worm, he introduced himself Olus and joined our group. He smells the same as me, but yet it is different.

127th day: We came back at the Stag lord’s fort and are going down into the secret tunnel. The annoying creatures int the tunnel are dispatched although with difficulty. But we found a treasure hoard of stolen goods. We use the carts in the fort to move the hoard to Oleg’s Trading post.

133th day: We returned to Oleg’s Trading Post adn a Orc named Cerest Onigur Gro’Malek was there to meet with us. He was send by the Swordlords to assist us with starting up our own kingdom. we also delivered the head of the Tatzelworm to Oleg and informed and escorted Kafken to the ruins of the temple we found in the forest.

Seventh Session

112th day: We came across the berries that Bokkum asked us to bring to him. It was painful gathering the berries due to their thorns. And midway of our gathering a spider swarm emerged from the bushes and forced us to leave.
When I have a better understanding of the power of nature, I will return to take vengeance on those insects.

113th day: We find an old fort on a hilltop and it seems to be under control of the Stag Lord. The others went scouting at night, while I told them that it wouldn’t do them any good.

114th day: Karel and Harpy went scouting again. And returned with bad news about undead behind the fort.

115th day: Following my idea of luring out the Stag Lord out of his fort. We set up camp on the path towards the fort. In the afternoon a group of bandits came and a Orc, whose name I forgot, came to talk with us. We learned that they hailed from Pitax and they brought armor and weapons of the guards they had killed over there. Karel made the conversation short, because he was eager to fight. During our fight we were also shot by arrows, but they missed us mostly. Though one arrow critically wounded Harpy, whose heart nearly was pierced by the arrow.
During the evening, a person from the fort came. He is called Akiros and he was one of the captains of the Stag Lords band. He told us what we were up against and that the Stag Lord was furious with us, because we killed one of those captains, namely the Orc of today. The Stag Lord is planning to ambush us tonight. Hearing this news I suggested to make it so that we had fleed, but instead hide nearby the fort and assault it when the Stag Lord and his entourage are out.

Fith and Sixth Session

81th day: At the end of our day mapping the area, we found a group of mites going back to their camp. We followed them from a distance and found their camp hidden beneath the old common fig. Still feeling troubled by the lost of Skill, I decide to go down and give the mites a good smacking to get some relieve. We battle in several rooms and even found the leader of the bunch, but he manage to get away. So we secured his bag of gold and a ivory statue of a kobold. When moving through the tunnels and chambers, I fell on a large insect that met its doom by my claws. When we thought we were done, we found a human and a kobold who seems to have killed the leader of the mites. Talking with them we found out that the name of the human is Karel and the kobold names is Mick-mack. Mick-mack want the statue I found to be brought to his chief. Although he doesn’t tell us much I decide to trust him and we follow Mick-mack to his chief. Karel seems to be a decent bloke so I invited him to join me and Harpy, because safety in numbers.

83th day: We arrive at the the Black Scales camp. Mick-mack guided us safely to their leader, called Old Blackscale. After some talking and negotiation, we found out that the tribe was struck by an illness that changed the color of the scales and they would die shortly after. Tarduk an outsider came and claimed the title of leader, because he could protect them against the illness. The camp split into two and Old Blackscale is willing to form an alliance with us if we return the statue and help him to overthrow Tarduk. He also said the statue could make the illness disappear. After agreeing with Old Blackscale we handed over the statue and he smashed into pieces. Without a pause, he rallied his followers and we were off towards Tarduk. We found Tarduk, a small purple being wearing a hooded cloak, while brewing in his pot. When he didn’t react on the words of Old Blackscale, Old Blackscale went to him and slashed him with his axe. Then a several Black Scales panicked and ran, because Tarduk stood there if nothing happend. We were then assaulted by magic by an invisible mage. It caused fear in our party forcing us one by one to run away. After Tarduk became visible, he was ganged up by everyone and stabbed to death by Mick-mack who forgot to run. Old Blackscale gave us the treasures that were collected by them which was mostly coins of all kinds and several magic items that didn’t looked useful in my eyes.

84th day: We are heading back to Oleg’s trading post.

85th day: We came across a horse chased by mites. Karel recognized the horse as his own. So we fought the mites and the horse was returned to its owner. That night during my watch a Brownie visit me. We had a nice talk.

86th day: We returned at Oleg’s trading post and I bought some magical healing supplies. It was told that Bokkum might be able to identify the magic items that we brought with us from the Black Scales. He would be visiting the trading post tomorrow.

87th day: Bokkum came and we asked him to identify our stuff. We order some magical armor and wait for it.

94th day: Our armors arrived and we set off towards a nearby camp that is being used by bandits. We plan to destroy that camp.

95th day: We manage to find the camp, but we walked straight into an ambush. After the heavy fight, Karel and Stam were at death’s doorstap and I wasn’t far either. Harpy on the other hand was totally fine, because her bonded creature took the brunt. We manage to capture three of the bandits alive and decided to bring them with everything valuable we found, back to Oleg’s trading post.

96th day: During our travel through the woods we saw some Black scales wandering with baskets filled with radish. During that night on my watch, a strange dog appeared. Me and Stam taugth that creature a lesson, because it started to eat from our rations.

97th day: We returned once again at Oleg’s trading post and we had a blast that night. The cart with liquor we found at the bandits camp was shared with everyone in the camp. Causing many of us to wake up with some pain in our heads.

98th day: A local hunter, called Willem, was killed by Arrowskin a ferocious boar. Vekkel reminded us of the bow and arrows he would give us if we manage to bring its head to him.

99th day: Were off exploring. Karel is troubled by a scaled cat. I think he still drunk from the paryt 2 days back.

101th day: We came across Arrowskin and we managed to take him down. Because the head is so big we decide to return immediately to Oleg’s trading post.

102th day: We were ambushed by a drift of boar. Karel went down and his little pink was lost when a boar trampled him. He was even harassed by 2 tiny creatures and one of them is a scaled cat. I say, he is still drunk.

103th day: During my watch I found 2 tiny forest dwellers. one was a small catlike dragon with wings and the other was a small half woman half insect. They were the ones harassing Karel, but they say otherwise. After talking with them I learned that there are some ruins nearby and some of the swamp that is south of the forest. Managed to stop them pestering Karel.

104th day: Back again at Oleg’s trading post. We delivered the head of Arrowskin to Vekkel and receive a bow and magical arrows as a reward.

105th day: My order for a new armor is in and it fits great.

106th day: We are off towards the ruins told to me by the tiny forest dwellers.

107th day: Harpy managed to get one of the forest dwellers drunk and I warned her not to do it anymore.

109th day: We found the ruins. Thanks to the tiny forest dwellers information and my knowledge we managed to find our way, through what looks like a maze made out of thorns. When we got there we were assaulted by a bear that knocked me out. Harpy and Karel tell me when I wake up that the bear changed into a old man before turning into ashes. Harpy finds a pool filled with life restoring waters. I remind myself that there was a person looking for this place, back at Oleg’s trading post.

110th day: Everyone agreed that it was time to punish the Stag Lord and we are heading towards his camp according to our information.

Fourth Session

68th day: We found a lair of Spring spider and dispatched the beast with the wild nature within me. We found a poor fellow who had a map on him indicating a place where he has hidden some stuff.

69th day: We returned at Oleg’s trading post. I collected my ordered weapon and bought some writing supplies. We had a discussion about what to do next. Skill wanted to look for a old temple and Harpy wanted to go after the bandits while I wanted to go stop the fighting between the Blackscales and Mites. No matter what the others think, I have the map so I decide what to do next.

70th day: We are heading out again and found two bandits at Bokkums place while passing by. sadly only one had the balls to go against us and he was met with a force that he couldn’t resist. The day ended for us when we brought those excuses to the guard.

71th day: We are setting out again. During the night shift of Skill, we were attacked by those big eyed Mites. I’m starting to hate those guys. Even Stam doesn’t wabt to eat one of those.

76th day: We found a old crossing across the Shire and according to nameplate it is called Nettle’s crossing. Skill was trying to get to the other side when the body of a vengeful spirit came. He fell into the water and I had my hands full what appeared listening to a dead mans grudge. After meeting with the dead I went after Skill, because he was still not seen coming above water. We found his drowned body during our search for him and I have burned him according to my tenets. Had a fight with Harpy, but we were both on edge, because of what happened with Skill. I am going to spend some time to learn to swim in case the same happens with me.

77th day: We found the location of the hidden spot we gained from the poor lad at the Spring spiders nest. He buried some stuff for magicians or to big to me.

80th day: During our exploration we found a single, old and grey common fig on the edge of some brushwood.

Third session

53th day: We found the source of the skunk river and it smells. And 2 giant frogs attacked us and one of them knocked me unconscious. Later that day i woke up and at least cured the worst wounds on my body.

54th day: In the morning we were attacked by a giant blue and green colored worm who we managed to drive off, but not before he poisoned Harpy. Luckily she was quite resilient against the poison.

55th day: We decided to go back to Oleg’s trading post so we can stock up on some needed battle supplies.

57th day: In the middle of the night during my watch, some bandits attacked us. We managed to capture two alive and the rest was murdered or ran away.

58th day: Skill managed to interrogate the captured bandits and learned were their camp was. We also learned that Someone called Kessel is the boss off them. Me changed our route so we could deliver the captured bandits as fast as possible. Thanks to Skill we managed to evade a troll who was cooking.

59th day: We heard some cackling and Skill went out to scout it out. After some time the cackling disappeared and then my patience was reached. Stam was ordered to track Skill down. We found traces of Rootmonster and finally found Skill chased by small blue lights. He claims that he wasn’t lost, but I know better.

60th day: We finally reached the plains. I and Harpy were talking about her and her connection with Ratium and the First World, were Ratiums home is. We met up with two patrolling guards from Oleg’s trading post. We arrived late at the trading post.

61th day: I managed to place a order for a small cold iron sickle and we run into Bokkum while we were mapping the area surrounding the trading post. We managed to get some healing potions from him.

63th day: While exploring we came across a traveling salesman and we set up camp near a improvised grave site. Skill and the rest had a hefty discussion about him rejecting the very existence of the gods.

64th day: In the morning we were surprised by a nixie, stupid little bugger. He plundered our rations and left a swarm of beetles while he ran off. Skill looked like he had a bad night.

67th day: Skill still looks sleepless but he reassured me that it was nothing.

Welcome to your Adventure Log!
Sessie 1 & 2

I decided to keep a journal when I entered the Stolen Lands. So I don’t forget anything while I’m there.

1st day: I met my companions Skilitzes and Harpuya in Restov before we went to Oleg’s Trading Post. Skilitzes or “Skill” is a tough looking man and has a pleasant voice to listen to and Harpuya or “Harpy”, as I decided to call her, is a good looking woman with wooden legs.
We were greeted by a relieved Oleg, the owner of the trading post, and his wife Swetlana. Oleg saw us as the new appointed guards for his trading post, but we cleared up that misunderstanding. Hearing him out about his trouble with the local bandits, we decided to help the man and planned to let Skill have a go with his words and Harpy and me standing by, ready to ambush the bandits if things go wrong.

2nd day: The bandits came early in the morning on horses. After Oleg let them on the premises of the trading post, Skill started to talk with them. It ended up with a bandit running away after being hit by a bag of gold. The others started to fight and they set the roof of the stable on fire. We managed to subdue them. The bandits didn’t talked with us anymore, so Skill decided it was best to decapitate them and put their heads on spikes outside the entrance of the trading post. One of the bandits tried to say something, but Skill cut him off, by separating his head from his body. Harpy took a silver amulet in form of a deer skull from one of the bandits. Later on the day Harpy surprised us of her monstrous and terrifying form she could take on. I hid behind Skill when Harpy showed us and she decided to prevent using it while I was near. Oleg told us of a old hunter, named Bokken, east from his trading post. Bokken might tells us more of the wilds that are appointed to us for exploration.

3rd day: We went to see Bokken and it was a long trip for those feet of my. We found a small hut and after some yelling he came out. The grey bearded man told us how the unexplored lands looked like and that he sells potions if we had any interest in them. I decided to spice up the conversation with some funny moves that Bokken didn’t noticed. Before leaving, Bokken also requested that he would like some Wolfberries and gave us a direction of were we could find a patch of them.

4th day: We decided to some little exploring and I, as the self appointed map maker, was making the map. That night, a dark red eyed wolf, that I couldn’t recognize, attacked me during my watch. The wolf managed to bring me down, but my loyal companion Stam managed to get him pretty good.

8th day: We encountered a group of 6 bandits in the morning, while exploring the lands. After Skill talked to them and giving them directions towards Oleg’s trading post, they decided to rob us. We managed to hold them off and even killed 2 of them before the started to flee. Because we gave them the directions we also went with haste towards Oleg’s trading post, fearing the worst.

10th day: We arrived at the gates of the trading post and were greeted by the new appointed guards. The captain of the guards introduced himself as Kerstan Garris and told us that the bandits were scared off by the heads that Skill put up.

11th day: Because we heard from Oleg that a trading party would come by, we decided to wait for them to restocked our supplies and buy an animal to carry the heavy equipment we were carrying ourselves. I helped out Oleg with rebuilding the stable that was burned down by the bandits. The traders were called Jot Kafken, Vekkal Stoneheart and a dwarf called Bronzebeard. We bought from the traders rations and a horse called Pauline. It seems that Pauline doesn’t like me. Swetlana asked a favor of us that we would bring some Moonradishes so she could make a nice meal for her stressed husband. One of the trades called Vekkal Stoneheart said to reward us with a fine bow and some arrows if we managed to bring him the head of vicious swine called “Arrowhide”.

12th day: We started our exploration again and headed west into the forest, this time.

14th day: We encountered some kobolds eating radish. When they spotted us the charge us with their spears and managed to hit Skill badly. After the fight, we found two baskets filled with the Moonradish that Swetlana asked for. We put the baskets on Pauline and headed further into the woods.

15th day: We discovered a wild stream that is blocking our path. The thorn bushes around it, tells me that it is the Thorn river we are looking at. Unable to find a safe place to cross over we decided to head north and look for the source of the river. That night some strange things happend to Skill and Harpy.

17th day: We encountered an area in the forest filled with traps. one of them put some holes in one of the wooden legs of Harpy.

20th day: The source of the Thorn river is found and near it we found a dead body from a trapper caught in its own trap.

23th day: Out of the forest into the plains. A nice change and the strange pranks at night also stopped.

26th day: An old burial site is found and a warrior is buried there. After some hard work getting rid of the stone, the only thing of interested we found was a ring with an eel and frog on it. According to Harpy this was a magical ring that enhanced your ability to swim. She’s hanging on to it, for now.

27th day: In the night of this boring day of exploring some plains, a wolf-man attacked us. Our attacks did little but bruise his hide, but a little frog that Harpy summoned managed to poison the monster badly enough to force him to run away.

28th day: The decision is made to return Oleg’s, because our rations are running their course.

33th day: We arrived at Oleg’s and find lot of people there. After resupplying with an even larger amount of trail rations, we went and talked with everyone to get the latest news. It seems that Tod Valgreen wants to punish the bandits properly and wants 6 of them alive for return to Restov. And there is a reward for stopping the fight between the Black Scales kobolds and the local mite population; the Black Scales should be somewhere near the river called the Shrike. Oleg also wants the head of a Tatzelwyrm and offers a reward for it. The Moonradishes we found were given to Swetlana, but we forgot to keep it a secret from Oleg.

34th day: We are off exploring. this time going into a northern direction.

37th day: A giant elk is wandering the plains we are exploring. Probably looking for a female in season. We try to avoid it.

38th day: Oh gods the elk is still on us
Okay, managed to lure the beast away with some fruits. That was a full day’s worth of rations, though. For all of us.

45th day: Because nothing much happens, I learned about Harpy and her “powers”. Although they are frightening, she told us that she was in control. At least what I can remember of the first time we met. Perhaps I should apologies for my behavior, but I should talk about it with her first. Note to self don’t forget to talk about it.

51th day: Some wild boars attacked the camp at night and caused some nasty wounds on Skill and Harpy. They were, well, slaughtered.
